Getting dressed

I asked the kids to get dressed and this was what I got.
Web chose the shorts and cowboy hat look.
Munster got a little confused.
Well at least they are dressed.

Snacks

This is an idea I got out of a fun activity book for kids.
Supplies: Crackers of your choice, Marshmellows, Cereal of your choice. Nutella or peanut butter, Or any spread you would like to put on the crackers. You could do candy but that is not as healthy. Then you put the spread on the crackers and let the kids do the rest.
Munster likes to do things in a neat way.
Web just bunches it all together and tries to eat it that way.
Here are some finished projects.
Munster loves to show the faces she makes on them.
And this means it is time for a bath.
I try to do this with them once a week. Because they have so much fun with it.

Daddies shoes

The kids wanted to wear daddies shoes so I had to take a few pictures of them.
Here Web is slumping to show me his cool shoes. He likes to do this pose because mom thinks it is funny.
Munster is striking a pose. Aren't I cute.

The Lunar Eclipse

For those who didn't get to see this and those that did I thought I would share these pictures I took of the Lunar Eclipse. It was on the 20Th and the kids and I enjoyed sitting outside and watching it. Thank you Omi for letting us know or we would have missed these shots. These two are just as the sun was closing over the moon.

This was where the moon was completely covered up. It was a pretty red color.I know this is blurry I had to reset up everything(I got cold and went in the house), so some were not as good as others.
This is where the moon is peeking back out.
This went on from 7:00PM-10:00PM.

Organization tip Cont.

This is my finished product. It was pretty simple to do and fun. See earlier post for more details.

Nap time

It was time for Web to take a nap and he did not want to. So Munster set him up on the computer chair to try and convince him he was tired. It didn't work but the pictures were sure cute.
Cuddles!

Chore chart

I needed a chore chart that my kids could understand and would have fun with and this is what we came up with. The pockets are personalized so there is no question who's is who's and we have pictures of the chore plus a description on each little peace of paper.
As they do their chores they put the ones that are done in the last pocket and then we know what they have left to do in a day. If they don't get a chore done it piles up during the week and there is no playing on Saturday until all the chores are done.

New years eve

At about 8:00 PM we let the kids go out and bang on their pans. This way they could celebrate New years and go to bed on time. They loved it.

Christmas PJ's

Tradition for us is to get a pair of PJ's christmas eve.

I love them!

Mine are too big!

Family pictures

The family Christmas pictures. Yes, I made the dresses.

Stud man in his suit.
This is a ballet pose.

I realized how far behind I was on this and thought I had better catch up. Here is our Christmas picture of the kids. It really shows their sweet spirits.

Gotta love the internet

Okay so we have not had internet for a month so if you have emailed me and wondered why I have not emailed you back it is because we were in the dark ages. No internet for me means no news either. I am glad that family told us about our dear sweet prophets passing. Our prayers go out for the Hinckley family.

Flip flop warning

Okay I sent this to some of you as an email and I hope that the graphic images did not offend you. I apologize if they did. I just wanted to get the warning out to everyone before anyone else got hurt. This is a story of a girl who bought flip-flops from Wal-Mart and the damage that these flip-flops did to her feet and many others. It is an important story to read. The flip-flops were made in China and as we all should know there have been major recalls on toys that were manufactured in China if you have not seen these look them up the toys contained lead in them. I am sure you could go to www.mattel.com to see some of the many toys included in these recalls. As for the slippers no attempt from Wal-Mart has been made as far as I know to remove these flip-flops from their shelves. So beware and do not buy anything made in China. Here is the story http://www.lamanaphotography.com/walmart2.htm

Here is a good laugh!

They came out of Munsters room laughing and this is why.
Oh the black mail pictures we have.
Doesn't he make the cutest little Princess.
Dad says it is time to get some cowboy attire for him.
LOL!

Sad Face Contest

I think Web won. How about you?

Organization

This is my organization tip for the day.
I needed a better system for my thread so I bought these crates at Wal-Mart for $.98 each. Then I bought some wooden dowels also very cheep and broke them in half to fit in the crates.
Then I hung my thread and ribbon from the dowels and there you are. I have a lot more work to do on this but I just wanted to share a little bit of it now.

The glasses

These are Munsters new glasses.
Just a few pictures to let you see how cute they are on her.
She loves them.
And she got a new case to go with them that is the same color.

New glasses

Well as cute as Munsters little cherry red glasses were. We had to replace them due to the fact that her brother decided to see how cool it would be to break them in half. They could not repair what he did to them. So we will be posting pictures of her in her new glasses shortly.

Last post for the day. I have a ton more pictures to share but they will have to Waite. We have school time in the morning to cut down on boredom and I put the alphabet on the wall in the kitchen to help them see the letters better.
Munster took this shot. She loves this time of day. She is very good at math. We have a bell I ring when it is time for school and the other day I used the vacuum as the school bus (so I could vacuum the hall) to pick them up at there door's to their room's. It was fun and I got the cleaning done.
