Last post for the day. I have a ton more pictures to share but they will have to Waite. We have school time in the morning to cut down on boredom and I put the alphabet on the wall in the kitchen to help them see the letters better.

Munster took this shot. She loves this time of day. She is very good at math. We have a bell I ring when it is time for school and the other day I used the vacuum as the school bus (so I could vacuum the hall) to pick them up at there door's to their room's. It was fun and I got the cleaning done.

Great idea, I have always wanted to put the letters on the wall... never have gotten that far though! way to go!
Happy Birthday little "Munster"!! The big #5 eh?? It sounds like you are doing a great job doing educational activities with the kids. I could always do better at that!! Thanks for sharing your creativity!!
Are you homeschooling? We did that up until this year. It is a lot of work, but well worth it.
Home school for us is not an option. I think because I don't have enough confidence in myself to teach them and because Dad would rather they went to public school. But I have to say I am terified of what this year bring's with Munster starting Kindergarten.
I've been in your position only Harold was all on board for homeschooling. We made the decision to switch back to public school for many reasons. I will tell you the same thing I tell myself everyday. They will be okay. I pray for them and I trust the Lord and I am in constant communication with their teachers as well as volunteering weekly in their class. See if there is another mom who would trade off with you to make that a possibility. That's what I had to do when Wade was still pre-school age. You don't have to be heavily involved, but you can also be a member of the PTA and stay informed that way. School has changed so much since we were there. Some for the good and others not so much, but even though I send my kids to public school I still suplement them at home. Not a ton. They get enough structure at school that they need to relax, but I can read them good books, and have them watch good TV and play good games on a computer. It all adds to their education and they are very much the little sponges at this age. It will be okay! Just stay involved and remember even if our worst possible imaginations were to come to pass apparently it is a trial we were meant to face or it wouldn't have happened after all we do to make sure their okay, but I'm pretty sure we needn't worry on that count.
