Here is a good laugh!

They came out of Munsters room laughing and this is why.
Oh the black mail pictures we have.
Doesn't he make the cutest little Princess.
Dad says it is time to get some cowboy attire for him.

That is too funny!!! Daniel would die if I took a picture of our son dressed up like a girl!! But little "Web" looks adorable, though! Oh, and I love "Munster's" new glasses. So cute and fun. Hope you are all doing well!!

He does it all the time. I have so many pictures of it. But we are going to get him some boy dress up clothes that will hopefully help.

Oh, wow! What an awesome Christmas present. My long lost friends!!! I have missed all of you. Email me directly so I'm not posting too much on the web. I'm really beginning to love this blogspot thing just for the people I've found:) hsjacobus@hotmail.com I'm still new to this blogspot thing and it will probably be easier in some ways just to email.

How funny! Garrick likes his toes painted, and Than only allows for clear or sparkles. Hey, I do a pre-k with my kids and some friends too. Got any good ideas or resources that you love and would want to share (not borrow, just pass along the info on). My email is; belleza_rn@yahoo.com, and I'd love to share what I've found and done if your interested!

I am not home schooling. Munster missed the deadline for school and Dad says no preschool so I just do a learning time in the morning which can range from fun little projects to watching a Signingtime video. I do put some math and reading and writting in there for Munster just because she needs to learn somehow But I am open for any suggestions.

Keep it simple. They absorb a lot more then you think. Take advantage of technology. Books on tape, computer, PBS Kids, Library media in general. You don't have all day to do stuff with them, and every minute they spend learning something doesn't have to come directly from you. A easy math workbook and easy preschool letters or phonics workbook is more then enough and I found the kids got frustrated looking at thick books so I just ripped the pages out and gave them their two little pages for the day. READING is huge. "Bob Books" are good for beginning readers, but there are definitely other kinds out there too. Just remember easy readers. Librarians are great on directing you to these. Don't be afraid to read a book to them even if they memorize it in one shot. Them rereading the words without frustration will still teach them the words. Have them point to each word though to make sure their reading it. Wow, this is becoming a book fast. Just remember their sponges and allow them to soak and that is the key word right now "soak" as much as they want to or can.
