Flip flop warning

Okay I sent this to some of you as an email and I hope that the graphic images did not offend you. I apologize if they did. I just wanted to get the warning out to everyone before anyone else got hurt. This is a story of a girl who bought flip-flops from Wal-Mart and the damage that these flip-flops did to her feet and many others. It is an important story to read. The flip-flops were made in China and as we all should know there have been major recalls on toys that were manufactured in China if you have not seen these look them up the toys contained lead in them. I am sure you could go to www.mattel.com to see some of the many toys included in these recalls. As for the slippers no attempt from Wal-Mart has been made as far as I know to remove these flip-flops from their shelves. So beware and do not buy anything made in China. Here is the story http://www.lamanaphotography.com/walmart2.htm

Here is a good laugh!

They came out of Munsters room laughing and this is why.
Oh the black mail pictures we have.
Doesn't he make the cutest little Princess.
Dad says it is time to get some cowboy attire for him.
LOL!

Sad Face Contest

I think Web won. How about you?

Organization

This is my organization tip for the day.
I needed a better system for my thread so I bought these crates at Wal-Mart for $.98 each. Then I bought some wooden dowels also very cheep and broke them in half to fit in the crates.
Then I hung my thread and ribbon from the dowels and there you are. I have a lot more work to do on this but I just wanted to share a little bit of it now.

The glasses

These are Munsters new glasses.
Just a few pictures to let you see how cute they are on her.
She loves them.
And she got a new case to go with them that is the same color.

New glasses

Well as cute as Munsters little cherry red glasses were. We had to replace them due to the fact that her brother decided to see how cool it would be to break them in half. They could not repair what he did to them. So we will be posting pictures of her in her new glasses shortly.

Last post for the day. I have a ton more pictures to share but they will have to Waite. We have school time in the morning to cut down on boredom and I put the alphabet on the wall in the kitchen to help them see the letters better.
Munster took this shot. She loves this time of day. She is very good at math. We have a bell I ring when it is time for school and the other day I used the vacuum as the school bus (so I could vacuum the hall) to pick them up at there door's to their room's. It was fun and I got the cleaning done.
Munster says thanks for the gift's. I think this was one of her favorites. We love Playdough.
Oh, and yes we are still having a battle over clothes. I thought that the cold of winter would help but they insist on wearing none. ugh!
I know it's not the best cake but it is what she wanted. Party rainbow chip with Pink frosting. Happy Birthday Munster.

She is 5 going on 16. But we love her.
This is her I am so cute pose. Just like with her brother and his chin.
Don't worry I didn't forget Munster.
How about these shots.
Never a dull moment here.
This was a good lesson for my kid's to learn it was just a really hard way to learn it. Lesson: Never fight mom when she is getting you out of the tub.

Thank goodness we have Dermabond. Stitches would have been a bear.
I guess I don't give him enough to drink.
No, we do not have two girl's. Web just thought it would be fun to wear his sisters shirt and panties.
No Daddy was not happy with these shots.
All of a sudden the house was too quiet. I said to Munster "where is your brother". She shrugs her shoulders. So we start the search. Well we found him.

That's right fast a sleep on his sister's bed. Well mostly on the bed.

The Nutcracker

I didn't get any pictures of the 24Th when we went to the Nutcracker. I know what was I thinking. But Munster and I had a lot of fun. I got her the tickets for her birthday and I made us matching red velvet dresses to wear. The seats weren't as good as I thought they were going to be but we will fix that next year. Munster had so much fun and I cried through the whole thing. Just knowing she enjoyed it as much as she did made it all worth it for me. The company that put on the performance is from Eugene, Oregon. Then they hire local kids to play the parts of the angels and the lady bugs. These kids came from Munster's school. So she said next year she is going to be in the Nutcracker. Which may just be what happens. If so you can bet that there will be a lot of pictures of her in her outfits.

While we were at the Nutcracker Dad took Web to a Billings, Bulls game. Dad usually gets tickets from work but they were out for this game so Dad and Web stood in line for 45 minutes. Dad tried to persuade Web to go somewhere else but Web wanted to see the game. After standing in line they were able to see an hour of the Hockey game before I called and told him we were done. But all in all we had a lot of fun.The next time there is a game we will have to get pictures. we all went on Thanksgiving night and we had a lot of fun.

Omi and Opi took Munster to Build-a-bear for her birthday and this is what she made.
She chose a very fuzzie pink bear in a red fairy costume with glass slippers. She named her bear Aurora.

Costumes

Munster wanted to be Belle. Our lovely Belle had a lot of fun trick-or-treating.

Web was a great fire fighter. He even had a fire extinguisher that really squirted.

I was a Spider Witch.

Dad was a vampire.

Here are the pumpkins:

The second one is Web's. Mommy punched the holes and daddy cut it out.

This one is Munsters daddy cut it out. The others are the Elder's.

Pumpkins with flair

We had a lot of fun doing pumpkins with the Elders.

Painting fun

I decided to let the kids paint and this is what I found.

As I got them undressed to get them washed it was revealed to me that they had painted more than just their faces and hands. It was all over them. Thank goodness for bath tubs.

The table was not too bad. But it was a mess.

Unfortunatlly the tub was also a mess when they were done. I went from the table to the tub cleaning up this mess.
