Okay so I am terrible at keeping up with this. Mainly because we have had many technical difficulties. The card reader we have been using to download pictures died on us so we need to get a new one so I can post.
So a rundown of the last two months...
Mainly cold, cold, and colder and a lot of sickness.
We were finally able to get all the money together that we needed for our home and we will start the building process this year!!!! YEA!!!
Anyone willing to help we would love whatever we can get because we are building it. We are excited that we will be able to finally go out and enjoy our 12 acres.
We did have a trip already this year to Utah and that was for a funeral. It was the kids last great Grandfather and he was a wonderful man. Munster was very sad to say goodbye. But she found comfort in knowing she will see him again.
I am the Crossing Guard at the kid’s school now. This can be fun at times and very frustrating at others. Today I had a parent that nearly drug her child down the road after dropping him off in the middle of the road and not noticing that the child was trying to get back in the car because he forgot something. She did stop and let him back in but it was very scary. As a parent I can understand why sometimes we take a short cut to make our lives easier. But as a Crossing Guard I say don’t take a short cut that could hurt anyone especially a child. There are rules set for everyone’s safety. Is that not what we teach our children every day? So if we don’t follow those rules what are we teaching them? PLEASE SAFETY FIRST!
We are excited for the talent show coming up for the kid’s school. Munster is going to hula hoop and Web is going to recite a poem. It should be a lot of fun!
