Reptile Gardens

This is a fun place in Rapid city. Just a few miles from Mt. Rushmore. There was so much to see and we missed a lot of pictures because we forgot the camera on the second day. They charge you a hefty price but the ticket they gave us was good until the first of june and we were there the 23rd and 24th of May. This is the largest and most rare collection of reptiles in the USA. There were bird shows and crocodile and aligator shows and snake shows. It was so cool!
This is a tortois fossil. It is in a case. Munster only took a picture of one but there was a bunch of them all together. It was neat.
There is a bird in this picture.
Water fall in bird area.
There are fish in the water.
There are 4 birds in this picture.

These two pictures are of the same two birds you just couldn't see the second bird as well in the first picture.

Some turtles in the bird area. There were tortosis in a petting area. They were giant tortosis and the oldest was over 150 years old. We missed pictures of the kids petting them. But I didn't have the camers someone else did.
There is a bird in this picture.
A beautiful Flower in the bird area. It was very humid in the bird area. Everything in the room was alive. It was cool!
This one was the first one you see and hear when you came into the bird area. Darn thing squaked the whole time we were there.

13 foot croc
Triantula
Yep that is a frog. Hard to see in the tank because they are really small.
These little frogs might look cute but they are very poisonous. They are tiny too.

This guy may look small but he was thicker than my thighs.
Chameleon

Love the sign for this one VERY VENOMOUS.

This was a friendly fellow. Should have seen him try to get Web through the glass.

OKAY best part was the mirrors check us out. We laughed so hard as a family it made it all worth it.
