I did not realize that it has been so long since I did anything on this. It has been a busy month. we did finally find a new battery for my camera but we are still waiting for them to arrive. Web shot up a size he can wear 3T or 4T (in some thing's)now. Munsters performance is coming up and the costume is SO cute. Man when I finally get the camera working I am going to fill this blog up with all that you have missed. The costume is a mouse costume. But it is still very frilly and pink it is so cute.
We do have some trips lined up for the summer before Munster starts kindergarten this fall. Most are tentative plans until we get closer. On June 19-22 we are thinking of going to Utah for a wedding reception. The next weekend the guy's are suppose to be going on their annual camping trip, then we are going on a family vacation from the 2ND to the 13Th of July. Any questions on this one you can email us but it is mainly going to be in Southern Utah for a baby blessing and a lot of time and travel as a family. toward the end of July or the beginning of August we are planning a trip to Washington to drop the kids off at Omi and Opi's for a week. Then in August we will celebrate our tenth anniversary and we are not sure what we are going to do for that yet. We are hoping to get in a few camping trips to Yellowstone in there or some areas around there like Red lodge. It is going to be a busy summer for us though.
I got a new calling. I am teaching Sunday school for the 14 and 15 year old's. I have never taught this age so it has been a real challenge. Last week they asked us to speak and it was also the first Sunday for me to teach. There was a youth speaker before me and he started telling one of the stories I had prepared in my talk then he stoped and said oh sorry wrong story, Then he read the second story in my talk. I was in a panic. I was praying that he wouldn't go back to the other story after he read the second one and he didn't. I got up and told them what had just happened and everyone was laughing, Because half my talk had just been given by this young man. But I introduced our family and read the first story I had and then I had a little to add to the story he had read. Then I added a personal experience and closed it out. I ended up taking the full time they asked me to take and a lot of people said they liked my talk. I was just glad it was over.
Then I get in to teach my class and I did not have a manual but I did look up the lesson online. At least I had hoped it was the right lesson. Then I ran through the lesson too quickly and the kids said absolutely nothing the whole class time. We ended with 15 minutes left after the lesson. It was such a mess. This week I have the manual and I am not giving a talk and I am more prepared to teach. So I hope it will be a better class for them. I do have a few ideas I am going to try to see if I can get them involved. Suggestions are welcome from any who have kids this age or have taught this age. HELP!
We planted our little garden on Monday for family home evening. It is small because the yard we have is tiny but we ended with a 10'x 3 1/2' garden area. We also planted in pots so we will see if anything will even grow. It was fun to have the kids help us get it all done. The rain has been crazy since we planted so hopefully that wont kill our little garden but it seems to be doing okay. We had to call maintenance again today. It seems we have a leak in our basement. They are going to try to fix it when it stops raining. What a mess. It is a small leak in the laundry room so it is not a big deal but it is a mess.
We hope you are all healthy and happy.

Goodness, that's a lot. I know what you mean about not posting. I took one day off, then one week, then it just got away from me. There was too much to go back and try to post.
Your summer sounds busy, safe travels to you:)
As far as the calling, the manual "Teaching No Greater Call" would give some great tips. I taught mia maids several years ago and I tried to find as many game ideas or object lessons as I could. I had them do a lot of the reading too. It saved me from having to lose my train of thought and made them participate. Good luck, it's definitely a more difficult age group to teach.
You have a lot planned for the summer. Can't wait to see all the promised pix ... once you get the batteries.
Just a little side note the kids are 15 and 16 not 14 and 15.
