update

Wow! Time just goes and goes. I have not had a chance to get pictures on here due to computer issues again. But I am working on it. We have planted a garden on our property and we hope that it will grow. As soon as it stops raining and snowing then I will be able to go get pictures of the garden to share.

The neighbor used his tractor to dig out our driveway up to the home spot so we can drive all the way to where the home will go. Then a member of our ward brought his chain saw out and cut down 4 trees for us that were dead and dangerous. He made little benches for the kids out of one of the big trees that he cut down and they love them. He is going to cut more trees for us and we are excited to get started on the clean up out there.

Steve is busy busy at work and still loving his job.

I am going to take classes for signing this August when Web and Munster go to school and I am still looking into thee transcripton classes.

We have some fun travel plans for this summer. We just hope that the weather will cooperate with us. Utah in June and Washington in July. Plus camping and other fun things.

Munster has a recitle for Ballet coming up on May 22nd and we are excited about that. She has a very cute costume and she has practiced very hard for this. She is also in the Extended studies (or gifted and talented) program for this next year. She was one of 9 kids that passed the tests to get in she is a very smart cookie.

Web can't wait to be 5 soon and he is excited to go to school this August. He is ready. He has been working on learning to read it has been a lot of work but he is able to read when he concentrates.

,I hope to have some pictures soon. Love to all!

Updates

Here are all the updates for 2009 that I have been trying to get done but had problems because of the computers dying and time. I hope you can understand the wording because it is not going with the picture I put it with for some reason.
More will come to start this new year. Love to all from us!

Christmas day 2009

The Christmas tree before the kids got to it.

Dad's Christmas from santa.
Mom's Christmas from santa.
We had breakfast before we opened presents. The kids slept till 7 and we were up at 5 waiting for them.
They each had to wait there turn to go see what santa gave them for picture sake.
The pajamas they are wearing they got on Christmas eve. I made them for them. (Christmas tradition)

Signing club play

Munster has found a love for sign language. This is something that I have worked with her on since day one. Although she now knows more signs than I do we still sign to each other and I am alway's learning new ones from her. Here is their Christmas signing program.

Belly boy

This is what we call a full belly.

December 2009

The school Christmas play.
Here are some pictures from that.
She wanted to wear a pretty christmas dress. They signed christmas songs.

Our christmas tree story. 2009

This year we decided that since we have 12 acres of land with trees that instead of paying $40.00 for a tree that we would just get one from the property. So we got on our snow gear and we took our tools out and we packed in the car and drove to the property. As we got out there to walk the property we noticed that we had a few friends. There were are 15 deer out on the property. So we carefully walked out and we found our tree. The deer were unsure of us but they were very curious as to what we were all about. They walked around the property with us and watched us until it got too dark to see each other then they left. It was cool! We finally found our tree as it was getting late and we cut it down and brought it home.

Here is the tree and the kids decorating it. I hope you enjoy!

November 2009

Munster's birthday!

Munster invited a bunch of friends over only about half showed but she enjoyed a great party.

I don't know why we only got this one picture. She had cupcakes and played games.

Munsters Pumpkin play

This was a fun play that they did in Munsters class.

The background for the play.

Munster recited twinkle twinkle little star. You can not see it on her outfit but I glued sparkly heart shapes on it.

The carebear is bedtime bear.

Here are a few pictures of her reciting her part.

Preparing for the next part in the play.

The pumpkin patch. Where they chose a pumpkin to take home.

The end of the play.

Life

What a crazy world we live in. I find myself wondering where the months have gone where before it was just the days. I know signs of the times. My kids are growing so fast. Munster is 4' 2" tall & Web is 3' 6" tall. They are such a joy to me. I can not wait until we have the house built. We have some fun ideas for the house that the kids will love.

Munster is doing great in school. She loves first grade and she is excited to be getting baptized this year. She is a book worm. She is reading chapter books. She has a lot of good friends in school. She will have a performance this year with her ballet class. She loves her ballet and she is so good at it. She is also enjoying signing club at school. She is becoming very fluent in sign language. I will be taking more classes so we can keep that going in our home.

Web can not wait to start kindergarten in the fall. I am ready for him to start. He is so smart but has a hard time believing he is. He loves to create thing's but mostly he loves his cars. He has a wonderful singing voice and he is a great dancer.

This means school for me too and work. I am ready to be doing more out of the house. Of course this could all change if we got a call saying there is a little one waiting for us. We are still looking to adopt a little one and we hope that we will be able to soon.

I have a lot of pictures to share but no time to post them right now. So I thought I would just put a little bit in here about how we are doing. We are getting closer every month to building our hose. We have 12 wonderful acres. We have been working on clean up of the land, getting old dead trees cut up and planning where we are putting everything. It has been a fun process so far and a lot of work.

Steve is doing great at work he just got a promotion. Which came with a 10% raise. That will be helpful toward our savings fund. Well I think that is all for now. Until next time. Enjoy life and have fun!
