Repairs

I think we have had enough of the repairs on this place. Earlier in the year I wrote about some of the repairs we have had done and a long list of more that needed to be done. Such as the fridge the stove and the washer hose. Here are a few more to add to the list. The tank on the toilet on the main floor broke and flooded our bathroom and kitchen and part of the neighbors Basement. It cracked down the side. Then they replaced the tank and the toilet wouldn't flush. So they pulled up the toilet and found it plugged. Now they tried to blame this on Web of all thing's. This toilet didn't flush right for us in the first place. But I don't know any mother who would allow a three year old to play with old rusted pennies, nails, and screws. I KNOW I DO NOT.

The next repair was all of the pipes and the disposal in the kitchen. This was a mess and had flooded the kitchen again. The pipes were old and had rusted through. The disposal was ancient. I got a laugh when the maintenance guy tried to fix it instead of having to replace it. The thing stopped and it was not going to start up again. Kinda like our old Toyota. Sometimes you just have to say let go it is dead.

Some of the other repairs we had were thing's like a leak in the concrete basement this they caulked. Then the leak in the brick wall in our bedroom. This they still have not looked at. They replaced the screen door finally. This only took them 3 tries to get right. Munster was afraid that the place was going to fall on top of us at night. So she wouldn't go to bed. I have to admit the same thought kept coming to my mind.

Sledding

The kids had been sledding a while before I came out. I was making pumpkin pie so we could have it after dinner. This was the last time they went down. I had to go back in after making the snowman to check on the pie and I cme back with the camera so I could get these shots.
Here is Munsters ride.

Dads turn!

I want to do it like daddy.
Gotta turn around.
Okay GO!
Wooooow!

Good thing the snow is so deep.
I want to do it like daddy too.
Okay maybe not.

Last time Web.

Blaaaaa!
Let's go together!

Mommies turn! I want to go with mom says web.
Munster gave us a push.

We made it to the bottom.

One last ride.
Look out mom here we come!

THE EVIL LOOK ON THAT FACE SAYS IT ALL. I AM GOING TO GET YOU MOM!
AAAAAAAAA We missed her.
Today we were able to get the Munster to school. The tree's are still all over the roads and peoples yards. This was the second largest snow fall for here in recorded history. The biggest was in 1955. We had fun with the kids in the snow. Here are the pics.

Here are Web and Daddy shoveling the snow in the yard.

Shake the tree here Daddy!

This was Six shaking the tree in the road. Most of these pics were taken by Munster. If you look closely you can see that he is covered in snow. The branch broke off the tree and he was covered as it fell.

This is where the branch broke from. This is higher up than you would think. The total of branches broken on the tree is 5. But the tree is still standing.

Here are two of the branches break spots.

This is all the broken branches lying on top of each other.

Here come the boys back in the house.

This is a tree across the street. It lost three branches. Two of them are in the road.
There is an alley separating us from the house on the other side of the fence here. This tree lost a branch there on the ground. Just by the telephone pole there is another tree that you can see. The whole tree was lost.
The snowman.
We all made this together. It was fun.
He has a candy corn for a nose. Munster bought them so she could make a snowman with a good nose.
